"To have a community-engaged design-build, we need a small community trying to voice their history or unheard voices. By collaborating and taking risks, we can inform, learn, and memorialize for future generations. Community engagement touches upon everything from history to the environment and should be the voice of our design."

Hello

Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, I chose to pursue a career in architecture. During my time at the University of Colorado Denver, I focused on expanding my knowledge of materials, technology, and fabrication methods. While working for CU Denver, I held roles as a Studio Two teaching assistant and an assistant for the Visual Resources Center. As a Teaching Assistant, I was responsible for developing teaching materials, such as software, graphic styling, 3D printing, and laser cutting. I also took attendance, answered student questions, and provided design support. In my role as an assistant for the VRC, I learned about Photoshop and pursued my passion for photography by photographing and recording events for the University of Colorado Denver College of Architecture and Planning. Additionally, I shared my knowledge of cameras and lighting with students to help them take the best possible photos in the school's portfolio rooms.
